EDC is delighted to announce that the demonstration phase of the Ecodesign Support Package (ESP) has come to an end.
During the last two years, the main objective of EDC has been to work closely with Welsh Industry. In particular, EDC’s industry activities have focused upon delivering a 12-month demonstration project with four Welsh Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
The Design Week Magazine ran a story this week reporting that the first phase of the project had been completed and achieved its broad aims and objectives. The article fed back that EDC’s four partner companies have successfully embedded ecodesign and life cycle thinking into their working practices. The next stage of the project will involve evaluating and identifying key lessons.
